We have a number of exciting events coming up, and your continued support helps us care for the animals every day.

🐾 Paws for a Cause – The Next 30 Starts Here! FAMILY FUN DAY
Join us for a fantastic family fun day at Silverbow Country Park and help us build the next chapter of animal welfare in Cornwall!
📅 Date: Saturday 15th August 2026
📍 Location: Silverbow Country Park
⏰ Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm
There’ll be something for everyone to enjoy, including:
🐶 Fun Dog Show, craft stalls, face painting, nature trail, 30 Prizes for 30 Years Raffle, caravan show & delicious food vendors
Every pound raised will support The Next 30 Starts Here, our fundraising campaign to refurbish three of our kennel blocks, helping us continue to provide welfare-led care for animals in need for many years to come.
Whether you’re entering your dog into the show, browsing the stalls, enjoying the activities or simply spending time with family and friends, your support will make a real difference.
We can’t wait to see you there for a fun-filled day of fundraising, community and four-legged friends! 🐾💙
Newquay Pride Fun Dog Show

🌈🐶 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲! 🐶🌈
We’re delighted to be hosting the Newquay Pride Fun Dog Show, and we’d love for you and your four-legged friend to join us for a colourful afternoon of fun!
📅 Date: Saturday 29th August 2026
📍 Location: Killacourt, Newquay, TR7 1DT
⏰ Registration: From 1:30pm (timings are approximate)
🏆 First Class: 2:00pm
With 8 fun classes to enter, there’s something for every dog! Whether your canine companion has the Waggiest Happiest Tail, is the Most Prideful Pup, is a Golden Oldie, has the Perfect Partnership with you, or can impress the judges with their Star Performer trick, we’d love to see them take part. The day will finish with the crowning of Newquay Pride Top Dog 2026! 🌈🏆
💷 Entry is just £2 per dog, per class, with all money raised supporting RSPCA Cornwall Branch and Cornwall Pride. Rosettes and certificates will be awarded to the top three in each class. 🏅🐾

Wadebridge Antique, Vintage, Salvage, Craft, Classic Vehicles & Stationary Engine Event 🚗
Now in its 19th year, this popular and well-attended event has something for everyone, with antiques, vintage and salvage, crafts, classic vehicles, food and entertainment.
📅 Date: Saturday 29th – Sunday 30th August 2026
📍 Location: Royal Cornwall Showground, PL27 7JE
⏰ Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
All classic vehicles and stationary engines can attend free of charge, in support of RSPCA Cornwall Branch, who will have a stall at the event. 💙🐾

🐾 St Newlyn East Parish Show and Community Show Case - FUN DOG SHOW
We’re delighted to be hosting our Fun Dog Show at the St Newlyn East Parish Show & Community Showcase, and we’d love for you and your four-legged friend to join us for a fantastic day out!
📅 Date: Monday 31st August 2026
📍 Location: St Newlyn East Village Hall
⏰ Registration: From 10:00am
🏆 First Class: 10:30am
With 10 fun classes to enter, there’s something for every dog! Whether your canine companion is a golden oldie, has the waggiest tail, or can wow the crowd with their best trick, we’d love to see them take part. Rosettes and certificates will be awarded to the top three in each class. 🏅🐾
The Parish Show has plenty to keep the whole family entertained throughout the day, including a pop-up café from 8:30am, the Community Showcase from 11:00am – 4:00pm, live music, stalls, games, a raffle, ice cream and much more.
