Meet Hayley, the heart and expert hands behind our charity’s dog grooming service here at RSPCA Cornwall. With an incredible foundation of almost 15 years of dedicated service as an Animal Care Assistant within our very branch, Hayley possesses an unparalleled, deep understanding of dog behaviour, gentle handling, and animal welfare.

In 2024, she seamlessly blended this extensive background with professional grooming training, opening our public dog grooming salon to offer local pet owners expert care they can wholeheartedly trust.

Hayley's genuine love for dogs and unwavering commitment to animal welfare are central to her grooming philosophy. She believes every groom should be a highly positive, stress-free experience, carefully tailoring her approach to match each dog's unique personality, age, and comfort levels.

FREE Puppy Introduction (Up to 3 months): A gentle, positive first visit to help your puppy build confidence around the sights, smells, and sounds of our salon.
First Puppy Groom: £30 (Up to 6 months) — Building on the intro! Includes a gentle puppy bath, warm blow dry, and very light, careful trimming.
Nervous Dog & Intro to Grooming Package: £45 Popular! — Perfect for rescue pets, anxious dogs, or dogs that struggle with standard grooming. Includes three tailored, one-on-one, 30-minute confidence-building sessions with Hayley in a quiet environment.
De-matting: +£10 — Additional care and time allocated specifically to gently separate heavily matted coats.

Important Information

Arrival: Please walk your dog beforehand so they can relieve themselves. We kindly ask that you arrive promptly for your allocated appointment slot.
Flea & Vaccination Policy: All dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations. Pets must be flea-free; a £10 deep-clean fee is applied if fleas are identified.
New Clients: A quick client consent and details form must be filled out prior to your dog's first session.
Payment: We gladly accept cash or card payments immediately following your appointment.
