Training In The Real World
The skills your dog learns in a classroom don't count for much if they fall apart on a real walk. So Canine College moves.
First session at our centre
You'll meet your trainer and group in a calm, familiar setting at our St Columb base. A good foundation for the weeks ahead.
Then we head off-site
Each following week is at a different venue somewhere in Cornwall. We'll let you know where, well ahead of each class.
Your dog learns to generalise
Training in new places teaches your dog that "sit" means sit wherever they are. It's one of the most useful things they can learn.
The Course
Five weekly sessions, small groups, and a different venue each week.
Is your dog ready?Canine College assumes your dog already has the basics down: sit, settle, and giving you attention in a calm setting. If they haven't done puppy pre-school yet or still need to learn the foundations, we recommend starting with our 1-to-1 training. You're welcome to join Canine College once they're ready.
