Shredded paper, hay or straw

We would be really grateful if anybody could supply us with some shredded paper, hay or straw for use in the animals accommodation.

Newspapers wanted please!

We are really short of old newspapers and as they get used a lot on the small animal unit, we would be really grateful for any you could donate to us.

Washing lines/clothes horses etc needed!

In an effort to save money at the Centre we are trying to cut down the usage of our tumbler drier.

If anyone can donate washing lines, clothes horses or anything else to help we would be really grateful.

Success Stories Wanted

Success

Owners who have adopted a pet often email the Centre and tell us how things are progressing. It is always encouraging to see animals happily settled and we thought it would be nice to share some with you via the web site.

Hence, we have started a 'success' section, in which owners contribute a few words and pictures telling us how their pet is settling in the new home.

If you feel that you may have something to share, please email the centre with your experiences.

To see the sort of thing we want, see the 'SUCCESS' page here .

Give a hen a home!

battery hen

Can you offer a home to ex-battery hens?

Every year the Battery Hen Welfare Trust collects thousands of battery hens and we are going to be working with them to find new homes for the hens as family pets.

See lots more information via the button, below, and please contact the centre if you can offer a much needed home!

URGENT! PLEASE HELP OUR CATS & DOGS?

Due to us having a large number of cats at the Centre, we are rapidly running short of tinned cat food/biscuits and towels.

We are also in need of dog raw hide chews. These are great for the dogs, giving them something to do and reducing their stress.

If anybody has any of these items that they would like to donate to help our cats & dogs, please call with them at the Centre during working hours.

Your help is very much appreciated.
