ARE YOU ABLE TO VOLUNTEER IN OUR BUSY ANIMAL CENTRE?

For those animal lovers out there that have that little bit of extra time and are looking for experience in the animal care and welfare industry, then look no further!

Help is needed most days of the week and we welcome and appreciate help from anyone that can commit to a regular slot each week to help us on site in the animal centre.

Duties range from assisting staff with the morning cleaning duties in either the re-homing kennels or the cattery & small animal blocks to exercising of our rescue dogs to cat cuddling, socialisation and grooming of all cats.

Location: The William & Patricia Venton RSPCA Cornwall Branch Animal Centre, Quoit, St. Columb TR9 6JS.

Volunteer Van Driver

The centre needs reliable volunteer drivers – your main role will be to move animals from one location to another. We are looking for people who can be flexible and available at short notice wherever possible.

Volunteer Centre Hosts

We are looking for volunteer Centre Hosts to help in our reception, assisting staff with daily routines. This involves delivering first class customer service.

We are looking for people with a polite and friendly manner who have previous experience in a busy reception or customer service role with a good standard of English.

We need volunteers to help us everyday except a Wednesday from 11am to 4pm with a lunch break by arrangement with reception co-workers.

Volunteer Handyman

Can you spare a few hours a week to help maintain the Venton Animal Centre at Quoit? The role involves simple DIY maintenance jobs, painting & decorating and grass cutting to keep the Centre in tip-top condition.
